Above are some photos from the Annual Meeting of the Shelter Island Educational Foundation, held at The Chequit Inn on Saturday November 14, 2009.  There were presentations from many of the grant recipients, followed by hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

Through a designated gift to the Foundation, students from Shelter Island attended a performance of "12 Angry Men" on
January 22, 2010.  The play was a production of the Southampton Cultural Center and featured local actor Ted Lapides.

To benefit the Shelter Island Educational Foundation, more than 150 people enjoyed perfect weather, great food and music, beautiful views, and interesting conversations at  the Porch Party atop Divinity Hill in the Heights on Saturday,  July 17, 2010 .   The party was held at three magnificent homes:  the Melkonian house @ 24 Prospect Avenue, the Siegel/Haines house @ 26 Prospect Avenue, and the Buice house @ 28 Prospect Avenue.
